How we handle your personal data
Updated: 15 September 2026
Running a casino means handling sensitive information: your identity, your payments, your play. This notice sets out which details we gather, the reasons behind each one and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Dreamline Ventures S.R.L., the company registered in Costa Rica that operates Betscore Casino. Questions about privacy go to our support inbox; please put "Personal data" in the subject line so the message reaches the right person quickly. We follow the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation as our working standard, including for players outside the EU.
What we collect
We try to collect only what is needed to run your account safely and lawfully. The categories are:
- Identity and contact data: name, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number, postal address.
- Verification documents: ID, proof of address and, when required, information on the source of funds.
- Financial data: deposits, withdrawals, the payment methods used and transaction references. Full card numbers are handled by our payment providers, not stored by us.
- Gaming data: bets, game rounds, bonus history, limits and exclusions you have set.
- Technical data: your IP address, the device and browser you use, login times and security events.
- Communications: chats and e-mails with our support team.
Purposes and legal grounds
Every use of your data rests on a legal basis. Here is how they line up.
Performing our contract with you
Opening and running your account, processing deposits and payouts, settling bets and paying out winnings, crediting bonuses you have opted into.
Legal obligations
Checking your age and identity, running anti-money-laundering controls, keeping financial records, and applying the responsible gambling measures our licence requires.
Legitimate interests
Preventing fraud and bonus abuse, keeping the platform secure, fixing technical faults and improving how the site works. We weigh these interests against your privacy and do not use them to justify anything intrusive.
Consent
Marketing e-mails and messages, and any optional cookies. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in your profile or through the cookie settings, and withdrawing it does not affect your account.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| KYC documents and transaction records | 5 years after the account is closed |
| Marketing consents | Until you withdraw them |
| Technical and security logs | 12 months |
| Support chats and e-mails | 24 months |
The five-year period for KYC and payments comes from anti-money-laundering rules, so we cannot shorten it on request. When a period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
- fix details that are inaccurate or no longer current;
- delete data we no longer have a reason to keep;
- restrict or object to certain uses, including all direct marketing;
- send your data to you or another provider in a common format;
- withdraw any consent you have given.
Please send the request by e-mail using the address on your player account. You will hear back from us within a month, and before acting we may need to check that the request really comes from you. Not satisfied with the outcome? The data protection authority in your country can also take up the matter.
Sharing and international transfers
We never sell personal data. It is shared only with parties that help us run the service: payment providers and banks, identity verification services, game studios that need a player reference to run a round, hosting and customer support tools, and the Tobique Gaming Commission or other authorities when the law requires it. Each of these receives only what it needs for its task.
Because we are based in Costa Rica and work with partners in several countries, your data may be processed outside your home country. Where it leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and we check that partners apply appropriate security. Access to player data inside our own team is limited by role and logged.
