Safer play
Updated: 15 September 2026
Casino games and sports betting are entertainment, and they stay fun when you decide in advance how much time and money you are happy to spend. Every Betscore Casino account comes with tools that help you stick to that decision. You can set them up in a couple of minutes, and our support team can do it for you in the chat if you prefer.
Tools in your account
All of the following are found in your profile under the responsible gaming settings. Limits can be set per day, per week or per month.
Deposit limit
Caps the total amount you can deposit in the chosen period. Once you reach it, the cashier refuses new deposits until the next period begins.
Loss limit
Caps your net losses over the period, which some players find more useful than a deposit cap because it takes winnings into account.
Session limit
Sets how long a single session may last. When the time is up, you are logged out, which is a simple way to avoid "just one more round" at midnight.
Lowering any limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing one has to wait out a cooling-off period first, which stops a late-night impulse from overriding a choice you made with a clear head.
Taking a break
- Time-out: pause your account for a short period you choose yourself. Until it ends, the account stays locked for both play and deposits.
- Self-exclusion: close your account for a much longer period, or permanently. During self-exclusion we do not reopen the account, even on request, and we stop all marketing to you.
Both can be activated in your profile or by asking an agent in the 24/7 chat. Any withdrawable balance is paid out when a self-exclusion starts. We also recommend that you exclude yourself from other gambling sites you use, and consider blocking software on your devices.
A quick self-check
Nobody else sees your answers, so be straight with yourself:
- Do you spend more on gambling than you planned, more often than not?
- Do you play to win back money you have lost?
- Have you borrowed money or sold something to keep playing?
- When you try to cut down, do you get restless or short-tempered?
- Has a partner, friend or relative raised your gambling with you, or have you kept it from them?
Even one yes is a signal to put a limit in place or step away for a while, and talking to one of the services below can help. They are confidential and do not judge.
Free help, day and night
Gambling Therapy offers free, confidential support by live chat and forums around the clock, in several languages, for players anywhere in the world and for their families: gamblingtherapy.org.
Players in the United Kingdom can reach the National Gambling Helpline free of charge at 0808 8020 133, at any hour and on any day of the year.
Many other countries have their own national helplines as well; a local search for "gambling helpline" together with your country name will usually find them.
Keeping minors out
Nobody under 18 may play with us, and we verify age and identity before any withdrawal. If we discover that an account holder is a minor, we close the account and refund the deposits. If children use the same computer or phone as you:
- do not save your password in the browser or leave the account logged in;
- keep payment cards and e-wallet logins out of reach;
- switch on the parental controls built into your device or router.
If you think a minor has opened an account with us, please let our support team know by e-mail, and we will deal with it at once.
